Hub City Teens

Empower and Educate urban youth to transform the Compton Community.

Hello my name is Jessica Salazar and I am a youth board member of Hub City Teens.  In addition to being a board member of Hub City Teens, I am also a member of Teen Mops (Mothers of Preschoolers) Compton. Teen MOPS is dedicated to meeting the needs of every mother of preschoolers, including teenage girls who find themselves trying to fill the role of "mom" while they are still growing up them selves.

I've been a member of Compton Teen MOPS since 2008 and its help me a lot: I am more responsible, patient, and nurturing mom. Whenever I have a problem or an issue I am dealing with, I know I have someone to talk too, Teen MOPS is a great support network for me!

If you are interested in participating Compton Teen MOPS we meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at 357 East Palmer Avenue Compton, CA 90221

If you cant make it to Compton Teen MOPS hIt me up on HUB CITY TEENS for more info, I will be blogging on some of the topics and issues we discuss at our bi monthly meetings.

Jessica,

Thank you. Does the teen MOPS program have a leader?

Hello Fred, we actually do have a website it's http://www.mops.org/page.php?pageid=85
In this website you can learn more about what we do, you can also see where you can find the nearest site around your area.
At the moment we only have around six members. We are looking forward to have new members from hub city teens.

Teen MOPs sounds really useful. Do they have a website? How many members are there?
